Surrounded by the natural beauty of Longboat Key, The Colony offers a variety of indoor and outdoor meeting venues. Our private stretch of Gulf beach is ideal for casual gatherings ranging from a sand-between-your-toes dinner to elegant beach weddings and rehearsal dinners. With over 8,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, you have a multitude of choices for intimate group functions to elaborate affairs for up to 500 guests.

The Colony Restaurants also provide a unique option for an event. With cuisine inspired by regional and global flavors, spectacular waterfront views, impeccable service and an award-winning wine list, it is the Gulf Coast’s premier dining destination, and a tradition that has been celebrated for over four decades. Our Presidential Dining Room, renamed after the President’s visit to The Colony in 2001, can accommodate up to 16 guests for a private dining experience. The Semi-Private and Gallery sections of the Restaurants can host larger parties that prefer a spirited and dynamic beachfront environment.
